Whoa… Long time nv blog already… Hey people… This week was a super duper shack week for me…

1st i book in on a saturday night (2330) and slept in camp at about 0040…

Woke up at 0600 on a sunday morning… then took over COS duty from Kai Gui…

Slept at 0030++ then woke up by a phone call at 0610 on a monday morning… That was when i knocked my chin against the floor bcos i thought someone is looking for me damn urgently (and i became panick)… Yea…

Monday is the 1st day of exercise… slept for about 3 hrs from 8 to 11… then went for some briefing at 1330 b4 going to hangar to prepare some stuffs for the exercise… move off from camp at 2130 in a Civilian bus… Reach exercise area at about 2230 then slack and wasted so much time waiting to go rafting….

slept at ard 0300 hrs for a very short while then woke up to let my men sleep cos i hafta do that… Their health are more impt than mine… So yea… went to the water at 0400+++…. after finishing my job… i went for a nap at ard 0600++ and woke up b4 0700 to take over the role as a pilot… In btw 0700 and 1200… i pilot-ed with Dehua and Remus but most of the time its me… even when i m not piloting… i m also awake especially when De Hua is piloting cos he is still new to the eqiupt… So nv get to rest alot… after that we went for a technical break for like 3 hrs… but i slept for only 1 hr +++ at the training shed cos the damn irritating mozzies makes sleeping difficult for me… then we continued our rafting at 1800++… this time round it was worst… we waited for like 2 hrs and we chat alot (me Dehua and Chun kiat) during the long wait b4 the reservist load their vehicles onto our equipt for us to transport from one point to another… due to the shortage of manpower on my side (i m the only pilot) i haf to pilot the equipt on my side from 1030 all the way till 0400 the next morning alone… Damn shack… after that start to delaunch and go back on land… since it was raining… there is nothing we can do except to slp… However, the mozzies again make sleeping difficult for me… so i didn’t slp again…component training resumed at about 1300+++… Component training was damn fun… had fun piloting with De Hua… we’ve got the chemistry btw us thats why we piloted quite well… HAHA… Nice one la… Ai Zai…

went back to that mozzies infested training shed at 1550++ and were ask to slp for 1hr… But again i only slp for 1/2 hr due to the mozzies… then it was another briefing from 1700… load up tonner at 1800++ and was sent to the main gate at 1920+++ to take our Civilian bus back to camp…. Reach camp at 2015 and started chionging maggie mee… Super duper hungry… cos i didn’t eat alot during the exercise (only 1 packet of uncooked maggie on the 2nd day)… Cos totally no appetite and not enuff slp… Haha…

started washing the equipt at 2300 +++ all the way for 8 long hours until 0700 the next day…

after washing the equipt… went back to bunk with 12 of my plt 2 men (they worked damn hard also) to bathe and rest… during the rest… i didn’t slp again… cos i decided to let them rest and went to the canteen to buy breakfast for them with 1 of the men…. after buying their breakfast… we went back to hangar to continue doing the maintenance for the equipt until about 1540+++… some of the men and me haven had our lunch by that time and we decided to go back bunk 1st to take our money… when we reach bunk… i decided to do wad i did in the morning… but becos some fucker kept giving me task to do… i didn’t had time to do so earlier… after finishing the task i went back to bunk and sit on a chair under the fan…

15 minutes later… i felt nausea… so i went to the toilet immediately and squat in front of the toilet bowl for like 20 minutes… the nausea feeling was there but i didn’t vomit… Misfortune begins here… i stood up and went to the basin with my head resting on my hand on the basin… suddenly my breathing becomes heavier and my body starts to feel numb and weak… so i change position from squatting to sitting and finally i lie down on the floor… That was when my body becomes most numb and most weak + my breathing becomes the heaviest… carn move at all… after some time greg came to the rescue… he called for the medic and our superiors… the medic said that my pulse was slow and my whole body was warm… he suspected that i was down with fatigue… So i was carried down from the toilet (level5) to level 1 by 5 person (the medic, greg, LTA Ng, Eddie and De Silva)… Remus was also there to fan me… cos they said my body was warm… in the end… i was sent to the medical centre by an ambulance… my vein was connected to a saline water bag via a needle… the doctor told me i was down with physical exhaustion… which was wad i expected… thats why i wasn’t even scared when i saw myself in that kind of condition… Haha…

Thanks Delta Company especially my PC 2  and my Plt 2 men & fellow Sgts for ur concern… I was very touch to see those msges… Plt 1 also… I thank u guys very very much…

Whoa… Haven been blogging for a long time… Now just feel like expressing my thoughts about my DELTA PLATOON 2 (HAHA… Its shared among other new Specs… not only me la)

Came into Delta for 2 weeks only and i feel that i haf bonded with u guys quite well already… To those who know me and haf chat with me quite often, continue doing that cos i wanna communicate with u guys more… To those who seldom talk to me, try doing that more often cos i wanna know more about u guys… No harm talking to me right??? Haha…

DELTA PLATOON 2 - a very united and hardworking platoon that makes me happy everyday (whenever i m with them)… You guys make me wanna go back to camp and you guys make me feel the sense of belonging in DELTA COY… Thanks Guys and Rock On…

Btw… Don treat me like a Sgt during admin time… Just treat me like a friend… Haha… Anyway… i treat all of u more as a friend than as my men… Don believe??? Its true la… Although there is a line in btw us (in reality) but thats my way of being a Sgt…

One more thing… A BIG THANK YOU to each and everyone of u for making me HAPPY especially last tuesday… I was feeling quite upset and sorry for spoiling all of ur mood… Damn sian on that day and the following morning…  BUT U GUYS MAKE ME HAPPY AGAIN during the night.. HAHA…

Yeah… Today is the last day of the basic phase in ETI/BTC/STW/CESC… Posting is out and i m posted to bridging… HAHA… Bridging is my 2nd choice but i don really like the location (SELETAR CAMP)… FAR and ULU… DAMN SIAN…

Today also booked-out at 11 ++… Quite early thats why i m happy… in addition to the early book out… We are also told that the book in timing is on monday night… That makes me even more happy… HAHA… Had fun today… haha… hand carry my cousin downstairs for a stroll 3 times cos she is quite sick and then throwing tantrum… haha… BUT SHE’s CUTE…

Sad becos section 1 has been separated… Brothers of Plt 2 Section 1… U guys are the best… stay in contact and don 4gt the fun time that we had in bunk… I seriously miss all those days when we are together just within an hour period… Haiz… Lets hope we all survive thru the next 7 weeks in our respective units and graduate as an engineer specialist later… Brothers for life man… Good luck in all of ur future endeavours… Btw… I really appreciate all of u and i sincerely thank all of u for making my days in our bunk and during our trainings a happy one… : )…

YEAH… 1 week of being SECT COM for Plt 2 Section 1 is over for me…

Being a Sect Com in ETI is much tougher than being one in SISPEC… Mayb bcos my COY in SISPEC is a slack one la… Basically, Sect com in SISPEC just need to count strength (for my week)..

Last week was a super busy week for this blur guy here… i was damn blur in the morning (for MCM prac.) but not blur at all during the night… My job that day is to supervise my section on a mission but i didn’t supervise in the morning becos i was helping out…

Then on book out day itself… i hafta take over as standing Plt Sgt. for a while becos the real one is supervising the others at the void deck… 1st time being PS… fun but busy and i was very blur… haha… Get to inspect the bunks during area cleaning inspection… I was lenient … VERY LENIENT already… just pin point those dirty area to those people only… haha…

Being able to lead my bunkmates for area cleaning is fun also… At least they co-operated with me even when they know i am someone who get angry but not fierce enuff… We cleaned all those common inspected areas… No fault found for those areas but faults were found at the rare ones… haha…

the real area cleaning inspection was at night (just b4 book out)… My bunk was super duper clean… cleared once and then change to CV already… HAHA… That was the time when my feet slammed against the metal bed frame… Someone ask we all to get change in 5 mins and fall in downstairs… I was too rush and there goes my 2 toes… Swollen and blue-black-ed when i reach home… Carn walk properly cos the pain was unbearable… But hafta bear with it la… BE A MAN… LOL…

Yo people… Back from camp… Was posted to ETI haha… ENGINEERs…

2 weeks in ETI already… Training was equally tough in ETI and there were more boring lectures for me to attend… Haiz… More stringent rules in ETI than in SISPEC… smaller bunk at a higher level of the ETI building… HAIZ… 1 km walk from camp’s entrance to ETI building… Sian siak…

Most importantly… 7 new bunk mates found… 1st it was the regular, anrikyo… followed by zhi sheng a poly student… then the funny guy, Terence and then his best buddy Yi Hui… Next, my buddy Jing Yuan… Then Norman, a guy who talks alot on the phone… Last but not least…. Hsien wei aka Mr Fibre from JJ (nv seen him b4 in JJ) haha…

My bunk mates are musically inclined people… there are 4 bandsmen, 1 CO guy and 1 choir guy… Terence is a Saxophonist, Jing Yuan a Tubist, Norman a Clarinetist and me, a keyboard percussionist…. Hsien Wei is an Er Hu player…

Our bunk is rather small and stuffy… All of us don really like our bunk but we had no choice… Anyway we only get to rest in bunk at night… So we don mind…

Yeah… Today don hafta book in becos tmr is off-in-lieu…

Last 2 days was a tiring day for us cos of the demo live firing where we get to fire many real explosives… It was a good experience and it was damn fun… However, the waiting time is unbearable… HAHA…

Sorry Terence for stepping on ur spectacles during our IPPT training accidentally… Haha… Very Bao Qian…

Yeah… Graduated from SISPEC BSLC 2 days ago and back to the camp today for the very very last time…

Today is SISPEC ANNIVERSARY DAY… HAD LOADS OF FUN… NV been so fun in SISPEC b4…

We had a short and simple parade in the morning followed by games and competitions in the late morning and afternoon…

CONGRATS to GOLF COMPANY for winning many many prizes during the games and competitions… Let me recall wad we, GOLFERS, had won…

1) CHAMPIONS in Drill competition (GOLF’s drill squad sucks b4 the competition but donno why they suddenly become so zai until they get champion… HAHA…) I m proud to be in 2 champion drill squad company… VIPER was also the CHAMPION… HAHAH…

2) 3rd in war cry competition (ok la…)

3) 2nd in some combat race competition… (not bad)

4) 1st in mascot race (our giant size sergeant won becos of his spirit in the game ba…)

5) 1st in Chain of COMMAND… (our GOLFER commanders are damn power… They lead for like 2 to 3 hundred metres in front of the 2nd team which is from HOTEL COMPANY… POWER LA…

YEAH… 30th of MAY 2007 is a very special and exciting day in SISPEC… It marks the end of my journey in SISPEC BSLC… Graduated with pride… BUT before we get to graduate from that very Big and nice parade square… We’ve gotta go for a 28 km ROUTE MARCH around NTU n some forested area near SISPEC… 28 km… LONG, TIRING and UNBEARABLE… HOWEVER… I still manage to survive with my perseverance and endurance…

After the graduation parade… We’ve got so many administration work to do before we book out… HAIZ… Those tedious chores includes cleaning of weapons, cleaning of bunks… SUPER DUPER TIRING becos we did not sleep the last night due to the route march… so its like 40 ++ hours without sleep… everybody got scolded by each other + the commanders for sleeping in bunks… UNREASONABLE… Fucking hell… ARGH…

Besides not having to sleep at all the previous night… The delay of BOOK OUT time pissed me to the max… Wanna explode already but hafta control cos we are still CPL only after the graduation… Still smaller than those people of higher ranks…. FUCK siak….

Before book out… PC announce our posting result and i got posted to ETI (combat engineers)… HAIZ… I m dead for sure but it is better than going to ASLC… Hopefully i will haf a long block leave b4 reporting to the new unit… ARGH…

Shouting is a challenge for me becos i donno why people keep saying that my voice is damn soft… My Apologies… It could be due to the lung peforation that i had during my JC life… was cheering and shouting during the orientation… then voice started to turn coarse… At 1st i thought it was just normal sore throat… Later it turns out to be lung peforation… From then on… I don dare to shout that loud already…

Last week in SISPEC BSLC is coming soon… SHLD BE VERY FUN especially monday and wednesday… Tuesday is our course’s grand finale (28 KM ROUTE MARCH)… WOO HOO… Wednesday is our GRADUATION PARADE… BTW sew the 2 stripes on my shirt already…. HAHAHAHAHAHA…

Decided to write this post after thinking of wad happened during GOLF’s field camp and the happy times i had with the vipers…

Haiz… VIPERs… WHERE DID ALL OF U GO TO…? Why didn’t we stay together in SISPEC… I FEEL SO LONELY in GOLF PLATOON 2… I m surrounded by all the HAWKs and WHISKEYs… If u guys are with me… that will be so much better… Being with u guys make me feel more comfortable becos we know each other better… Not trying to say that i donno my GOLF mates… BUT people from the same company usually stick together thus few interactions btw me and them… So being the only one from VIPER… I felt left out and became the target (good and bad)… Haiz… This is human nature… ARGH… I don feel good being in GOLF suddenly…
